When I'm printing uninstalled font samples from folders to either paper or
PDF, the occasional font sample displays dingbat style character output rather
than the correct typeface. Any idea why this happens? |
|
The print preview window displays all pages being printed. Try to find out is
this font sample has drawn correctly in the print preview. In the case the
sample in print preview is also displays dingbat style, the problem is in the
font itself. In the case it is shown correctly in print preview and it is
printed incorrectly, it seems it was substituted by incorrect printer font. Open
printer setup dialog for your printer and try to change the options that control
usage of built-in printer fonts and downloading TrueType fonts. |

When I'm printing a report to the Jaws PDF Creator
PostScript printer, the PDF-file is not generated. The PDF Creator generates
an error log-file instead of PDF-file. How to fix this problem? |
|
This problem may occur with Jaws PDF Creator 2.0. To work
around, choose File > Print Setup..., select Jaws PDF Creator printer and
press Properties... button. PDF Creator Options dialog appears. Choose
Paper/Quality tab and press Advanced... button. On the PFD Creator Advanced
Options page choose: Document Options > PostScript Options > TrueType Font
Download Option. Change this option from "Native TrueType" (the default
value) to "Bitmap". |
